Summer Escape To Taiwan - Day 1 & Day 2

Another travelogue that worth for documenting which was my Taiwan trip last week.First of all,this is my  first trip with my sec friends,yes u know there will always be a huge difference if you travel with friends compare to family.

Apart from that,we did everything on our own.We planned this almost half a year ago from booking air tickets,choosing the date that match our timetables,finding accommodations and transportations and lastly scheduling itinerary for the entire trip.( I think our schedule was pretty plenitude,so if you're planning to go there,i'm willing to share our itinerary with you by just email me at serene.fang@hotmail.com ..;)

We work hand in hand in finding places for sightseeing,places to eat and to shop. I'm lucky enough to have them to travel with me and looking forward for the next trip. And i really had great time during the trip and of course i hope they do!We've been there for 10 days in total,yes that's really long which nearly half a month.But i'm truly happy that four of us can get along with each others very easily.

Let's get back to the topic..

Touched down Tao Yuan International Airport at 3PM..

Settled everything down in the airport and applied for this 青年卡. Must apply for this cause it's so useful and mainly use for getting cheap entrance tickets such as in Cing Jing Farm, Taipei101 Observatory and many more.

Took THSR from TaoYuan and reached TaiChung in about 1 hour time. FYI u can get early bird discount if you purchase these tickets in advance. 

Our first stop was Feng Jia Night Market. The biggest night market in Taiwan!Not only good for feasting but for shopping too.. Girls,u gotta love here..

 Had our quick dinner over there and tell me how can Taiwan without any street foods,right?

Must try this!it's actually taiwanese sausage wrapped by glutinous rice and so yummy!

For the lazy people like me,you have to try this out. Eat the prawn straight away without peeling the shell..

Day 2 in Taiwan

Get ready in the morning and meet our driver that we've booked earlier at our place to kick start our day. Spent our day 2 just for sightseeing and being a tourist for the whole day..Went to 溪头妖怪村 at first..Spent minimum time at here which was like 40 mins cause i personally think that nothing much here except a street / village that filled with weird and special stuffs..

Headed to lunch afterwards..

Our driver is kind enough and brought us to buy this famous egg tarts..

Visited 宝岛时代村after our lunch. And this was a nice place! You can probably find back all those old school or 70's-90's memories there.. Let's check this out..

My primary school memory. I used to join this Yoyo club back then,but sadly i couldn't play well now.haha.

And lastly,visited the famous CartonKing Creativity Park (纸箱王). Is a must to visit and i'm sure that you'll be impressed by the creativity of the founder.  He turns plain,common and simple corrugated paper into special ones. Just for your information,there are actually few outlets of CartonKing in TaiChung but the one that we've been to was the main outlet..

Before leaving that place,our driver brought us to try the most famous shaved ice at the area.The shop named 东东芋圆. All i would say is that this really worth trying and taroballs inside that shaved ice was super chewy!

Ending my post here..Day1 and Day2 was overall good for us as we really enjoy it a lots..
