Ho Chi Minh,Vietnam { Day 2 }

Happy Public Holiday everyone..Continuing with my day 2 now.. Suppose to squeeze day 1 & day 2 into one complete post but it was way too lengthy so i decided to split it into two.. By the way, you can now read day 1 post here -- Vietnam Day 1

Rise and shine and we had our breakfast at Tours Les Jours Bakery..

Korean pastries..

Motorbikes in the morning ^.^ *horn horn*

Walked along the street and passed by this fruits stall that was selling variety type of tropical fruits.. Wanted to get the juicy lychees at my first sight.. :o

Hi it's me!

With mom earlier in the morning before starting off our day..

Weather was just too heaty in Vietnam..

Headed to Ben Thanh Market afterwards.. The huge marketplace in the downtown area of HCM city district 1 with several hundreds small stalls on almost impassably narrow aisles.

Local style pickled fruits and candies is a MUST to buy!

Not managed to take lots of pictures inside so...By the way..all you need to do HAGGLE since stuffs over there were quite overpriced..

My shopping hauls ..

Pho 2000 that just right opposite Ben Thanh Market for lunch..

Seafood pho which tasted quite similar like Tom Yum..

Highly recommended beef pho which tasted heavenly...Must X100 try...

Another highly recommended Vietnamese cuisine - Prawn Spring Rolls..

*Nom Nom Time*

Had refreshing jackfruits as well..

Heart-shaped crispy waffle..One of their street food..

                 Statute of Ho Chi Minh.

People Committee Building.

Emporio Armani Cafe which located at Vincom Centre..

We insisted to empty the coffee rack so we ended up buy the whole trolley of Vietnam famous coffee as souvenir..

Paris Baguette for half and hour coffee break.

We went back to Ben Thanh Market again but purposely for night market outside Ben Thanh Market for dinner..
Appetizing glutinous rice so aunt bought it to try..

Colourful oneh-onehs..

Had dinner at one of the food stall at the night market..Quite a lot of food stalls in the night market so we just gave the restaurant which has more customers a try..

Had seafood again..

Vegess..

Just walk around the night market for another around of shopping. But it was tired for haggling with the sellers since stuffs over there have no minimum price..You may easily get slightly overpriced stuffs if you are not good at haggling..One of the reason why i dislike shop at the market plus language barriers make us even more tiring to bargain..

Before signing off..

My OOTD for day 2..
Embroidery top - Black scalloped dress - Flora sandals

Till next time..

Xoxo.
