Travelogue : M - for - Macau

Happy mid-week guys. Decided to do another post which was Macau to lighten up your Wednesday. Yeay no worries cause TGIF coming on it's way. Can't wait for weekend. Well, let's get back to the topic. I'm sure that most of you've been to Macau together with HK. Both of these country is like the best combination you'd have arrange together. But wasn't same for me, it was my first ever trip to Macau. Such a lovely and peaceful place. Love it.

P/S: Such a bad timing to write this post at night by seeing those food pictures. Make me even hungry. Really torturing. :'(

What came across your mind if I speak about Macau? Casinos? St Paul's church which generally known as 大三巴? Pork chop bun? The Venetian? or the famous almond cookies? Make sure you will be keep on reading cause I will be including everything in the post.

So keep on scrolling. :)

45 mins journey. Finally in Macau.

Say Yeay!!

Casey and I sending greetings from Macau.

While waiting for our hotel shuttle bus to come. Selfie ^.^

My elder sister. Ahh no lah it's Mommy.

Checked in Hotel Royal in the evening. Like this hotel because the room is so spacious and the bed is too good to sleep in. One night staying there was definitely not enough.

If you're planning to visit Macau, do check them out :

Estrada da Vitoria 2-4

Didn't know that 大三巴牌坊 was quite near with our hotel. Approximately 15 mins walking distance. Famous tourist spot you couldn't miss out.

Walked down to the street and hunt for our dinner.
before that, these are the two shops are famous of their famous almond cookies. P/S: you will know it if you're big fans of HK drama.

Settled down at 黄枝记 for out dinner. Well-known of their 招牌虾子捞面 and 水蟹粥. Since we got there already 8-ish so we can avoid long queue. And I actually wanted to try pork chop bun there but too bad sold out already.

Addres: 澳門議事庭前地17號

Wanton mee. Grandma's all time favourite when she was in HK, she can eat almost everyday.

Casey's 担担酱面

Aunt ordered this legendary 水蟹粥 (crab porridge).

炸鲮鱼球

猪肝牛肉粥 (Pork liver and sliced beef porridge)

Mom's 干炒牛河
Their food was overall quite nice. Will visit again for my next Macau trip.

Can't get enough of those foods and we decided to dropped by some street stall to feast for another round. Casey happily nom-ming.

Dessert after satisfy meal is a MUST. I enjoy having dessert all the time. And we tried out the authentic dessert shop in Macau.

義顺牛奶公司

Address: 半岛新马路60号(近喷水池)

姜汁撞奶. Special dish that we couldn't find in SG or Malaysia. It was like bean curd we used to eat.

Papaya sago drink and also red bean ice.

Casina Lisbao is another landmark in Macau.

Another day morning in Macau. Went to 大三巴牌坊 again so we can have the photo in night and morning as well. Undoubtedly, morning will be more packed as more tourists flowed in. Hardly can get a nice picture of it.

Beakfast @ 皇冠小馆. Give it a try if you're looking for authentic local foods. Here's another option for you.

半岛水坑尾街308-310号A地下

Both Casey and I order the same porridge. YES, porridge everyday in Macau.

艇仔粥

虾子捞面 + 馄饨面

Finally I can try Macau style pork chop bun. It was nice though. Crispy bun with the combination of juicy pork chop. Slrpppppp.

Walked around and Casey said we should try for another shop for the pork chop bun and egg tart.
But the taste was quite MEHHHH. Not recommend you guy to try the pork chop bun and egg tart. Both not nice yet expensive. Not worth of paying your precious bucks for food like this.

After tried and tested, we've found out that 钜记饼家 sells quite nice egg tart. Can try.

#OOTD.

Our travel guide book recommend this place for soft and smooth bean curd. So we planned to give it a shot.

DA-dah.
Soya milk, soya pudding and bean curd.

Took shuttle bus to The Venetian Macau. Not sure but i personally think that it almost same with MBS in Singapore like casinos inside, row and row of branded shops expect the interior design of it. Like Venice in Italy, my mum said.

A clearer shot of my OOTD in The Venetian.
Hope you guys enjoy reading.

P/S : A review post is coming up next so stay tuned.

With love,
Serene.
